Disney Book(s) Review
Well, hello again, fellas! This time I want to do some kind a review (?) about my recent purchased Disney books.
1. The Isle of the Lost - Melissa De La Cruz
I personally love the Disney's Descendants movie and I think this book is the prequel. Like, I got the hint from the last page of the book hinting to watch the movie.
Anyway, this book is super super good. I mean, I have limitations in English since it is not my native language but I enjoyed reading this book. It tells you about how the 4 VKs met for the first time (spoiler alert!). Besides, I learnt some things from the story, like, you can always find someone that is loyal to you, and you don't always to do everything alone because there is always someone who is willing to help you out
2. Return to the Isle of the Lost - Melissa De La Cruz
Yep, I don't need to tell you that this is the 2nd installment of the 1st book. I purchased the paperback version this time because I think it's not worth it to buy the hardcover version since I will have difficulties to enjoy reading it.
And yes, I can't stop reading this until late night because it's kinda mysterious for me. Again, the story is about friendship between the VKs and there's a mystery going on in the United States of Auradon. I'm still imagining how the talismans will look like. I think they will be scary but amazing at the same time.
3. A Whole New World: A Twisted Tale - Liz Braswell
Have I ever told you that the "A Whole New World" is my favorite song of all time? Lol... Never mind that. As you can guess, there's a twist in the tale of Aladdin.
I didn't expect that the story would be different like that, like I thought the ending would be the same. But, it's like everyone says: expect the unexpected. Even though some of them are still staying to the original tale, but don't be so sure about what's coming next, because you'll never know. There's a value that you can take: never underestimate the people you thought week, and all magic comes with a price.
It's true, again, that I can't stop myself from reading the story. I kept imagining how the story would be like if there's a movie about this book. I definitely will watch it.
So, yeah. There are 3 books, and I'm going to purchase more in the future. Can't wait for the 3rd installment of Disney's Descendants book (I heard). And I'm still saving my money to buy the Once Upon A Dream: A Twisted Tale which tells us about Princess Aurora by judging from the cover.
But, if you're curious about what happens next in Disney's Descendants, be sure to stay tune to Disney as Descendants 2 premieres July 21st!
